- WHAT IT IS: Whole raw Gokhru Bada, the dried fruit of Pedalium murex, also known as bada gokhru, gokshura big, gokharu bada, large caltrops, palleru kayalu or nerunjil. Sorted and cleaned by hand, sold whole rather than as powder or extract.
- GENEROUS QUANTITY: This pack contains 250g of whole raw gokhru bada, sealed to keep it dry.
- HOW IT IS TRADITIONALLY PREPARED: Add a teaspoon of gokhru to a cup of boiling water, let it steep for 5 to 10 minutes and strain. It can also be ground into gokshura churna at home. Honey may be added to taste.
- WHOLE, NOT POWDER OR EXTRACT: Buying the whole fruit rather than ready-made gokhru powder or gokshura churna lets you see exactly what you are getting, and lets you grind it as you need it.
