- Why water soluble vitamin d & k? Due to our modern lifestyle, we simply don’t get enough Vitamins D or K. Our food is depleted of essential nutrients and we don’t spend enough time outdoors – which is one of the main ways we get Vitamin D! It is an essential supplement for most people.

- The Fringe D&K Powder contains water-soluble algae forms of vitamin D. Traditional Vitamin D3 supplements are made from lanolin or sheep’s wool. This is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans as it is animal based and the process can be quite chemical. We’ve sourced our D3 from lichen – living organisms which consist of fungus combined with algae. Lichen makes D3 following exposure to UVB rays – just like us!
- 2500IU Fringe Water Soluble DK Powder is similar to taking approx. 5000 IU of an Oil Based DK Supplement.
- 130mcg Vitamin K2 MK-7 (Menaquinones). Studies have shown that vitamin MK-7 is more bioavailable than vitamin MK-4, so it is preferable to choose a supplement containing vitamin MK-7. MK-7 is made through fermentation, with the best source being Japanese fermented soybeans (called Nattō).
